The Briscoes To Defend The ROH Tag Team Title At Supercard Of Honor

The more things change, the more they stay the same

When Ring Of Honor return from hiatus, they will do so with two of their longtime stars.

Commentator Ian Riccaboni and the ROH Board of Directors revealed during a Facebook Q&A on Wednesday that The Briscoes will defend the ROH World Tag Team Championship at the promotion's return show, Supercard Of Honor.

Who The Briscoes will defend the gold against was not announced.

Mark and Jay are currently in their 12th reign as ROH World Tag Team Champions, having defeated The OGK for the title at Final Battle on December 11, 2021. The Briscoes have been a part of Ring Of Honor since the promotion's first show back in 2002.

Mark and Jay will also be honoured by ROH ahead of Supercard Of Honor when they are inducted into the promotion's Hall Of Fame. Other inductees include Bryan Danielson and Samoa Joe.

So far, only one other match has been made official for Supercard Of Honor. Original ROH World Champion Jonathan Gresham will go one-on-one with ROH World Champion Bandido to crown an undisputed champion.

Supercard Of Honor will take place on Friday, April 1 at the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland, Texas.
