The Rock Hails Vince McMahon As 'A Father Figure'

"One of my greatest business mentors and a father figure."

The Rock has hailed WWE Chairman Vince McMahon as 'one of my greatest business mentors and a father figure' during a social media question and answer session.

The Great One and McMahon have had a strong relationship since The Rock's time in WWE, with Dwayne Johnson often speaking openly on the advice and support McMahon has given him throughout both his wrestling career and time away from the ring.

Rock was once again asked on the influence McMahon has had over him, to which the 48-year-old responded: "[Vince McMahon] was one of my greatest business mentors and a father figure. Not always the relationship one would want with their boss but the convergence of our lives made it to be. We laugh when we get together because we always pick right back up where we left off.”

The Rock's Q&A on Twitter came following the third episode of 'Young Rock' aired, in which Vince McMahon appeared for the first time. Played by Adam Ray, McMahon can be seen commentating on a Rocky Johnson match before also showing up for a phone call conversation later in the show.
