The Rock had a run-in with the police on Thursday, April 30.
Dwayne Johnson was in Los Angeles, California for Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci's Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremonies. The Rock has shared the screen with Blunt in multiple movies, including Jungle Cruise and The Smashing Machine.
Shortly after the ceremony, Dwayne Johnson was pulled over by Los Angeles police, TMZ has reported. The Rock was subjected to a traffic stop at a petrol station, with Johnson being stopped for tinted windows. Johnson was stopped for around two minutes and written up by the police officer before he was allowed to go on his way.
California law notes that front-side windows on an automobile must permit at least 70 per cent of visible light transmission. Back windows and the rear window can be any darkness level provided the vehicle has dual side mirrors.
If vehicle code 26708 is violated, you can receive a $25 fine and be ordered to remove the window tinting. The fine can rise to $197, though, if you are charged with an infraction.
While he hasn't appeared on WWE TV since Elimination Chamber 2025, The Rock remains a member of the TKO Board of Directors. As part of his services agreement with WWE, Dwayne Johnson has received $21.7 million in TKO shares. Johnson has also received $1.8 million in royalties.
