The Rock Wishes He'd Had A Longer WWE Feud With Booker T

The two met in the SummerSlam 2001 main event

The Rock has admitted he wishes he and Booker T had the chance to tell a longer story during their time together in WWE.

The Rock and Booker had a brief rivalry in 2001, at the height of the WCW/ECW Invasion storyline, with the duo meeting each other in the main event of SummerSlam 2001. The Great One would defeat his opponent for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship.

Hurricane Shane Helms would note on social media that he was re-watching the match during a cardio work-out over the weekend, and indicated he would have liked the duo to have locked up even more.

The Rock responded to Helms, saying he wished the same, describing Booker T as one of his favourite workers in the business.

The Rock put on Twitter: "Thank you, brother. I do too actually. One of my biggest regrets was not having a long run w/ Book.

"He was one of my fav workers and the best pure athlete I’ve ever wrestled. Fluid, sharp, believable movements and work style. I always say his moves had a rare swagger."
