The Viking Raiders Play Basketball On WWE Raw

Three weeks ago, The Viking Raiders suddenly developed a comedic side as they did carpool karaoke in a pre-taped vignette on Monday Night Raw. The segment involved them driving around saying Viking like things while Ivar ate a turkey leg. 

The vignette was universally panned and the former Raw Tag Team Champions seemingly returned to their old gimmick of being legitimate forces of nature as they challenged The Street Profits to a non-title match and defeated them in the centre of the ring on May 4. 

This doesn't appear to be the case, however, as The Street Profits and The Viking Raiders faced off in a basketball match on last night's episode of the red brand. Ivar and Erik were annihilated by Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins 74-2 and the joke was that the former IWGP Tag Team Champions had more fouls than points but then proved they actually knew how to play basketball. 

The segment came about after the two tag teams insulted each other on social media over the weekend and Ivar said The Viking Raiders could beat Ford and Dawkins at anything. 

He tweeted: "Well, we have won more titles than you two, all around the world... we can beat you guys at anything. Ax tossing, Feast Eating, Boat Rowing, Combat, Cartwheels, and People Tossing."
