The Viking Raiders Return To WWE NXT

The Viking Raiders returned to NXT on Tuesday's show from the WWE Performance Center. 

Ivar and Erik's return came about following a backstage segment in which Roderick Strong berated Diamond Mine and in particular The Creed Brothers for their recent losses. The former NXT Cruiserweight Champion then revealed he had set up a match for the brothers against The Viking Raiders at Spring Breakin'.

Ivar and Erik would then go face-to-face with The Creed Brothers before the former Raw Tag Team Champions defeated Edris Enofe and Malik Blade later in the episode. 

Then named Hanson and Rowe of The War Raiders, the popular tag team previously performed on NXT in 2018 and 2019, becoming one-time NXT Tag Team Champions with a win over The Undisputed ERA.

They were called up to the main roster following WrestleMania 35 and initially repackaged as The Viking Experience before they were renamed The Viking Raiders one week later. 

Ivar and Erik have since achieved limited success on the main roster, holding the Raw Tag Team Championships for 98 days in 2019 and early 2020.
