Third Annual WWE Mae Young Classic Tentatively Scheduled For November

Not yet officially announced...

Though WWE has not made any formal announcement as of this writing, there appears to be another Mae Young Classic on the schedule, and, if everything holds up, it won't be long until the tournament begins.

An NXTTickets page shows a tentative advertisement for the 2019 Mae Young Classic. According to the advertisement, the tournament is set to take place, or at least begin, on Saturday, November 2, and continue into Sunday, November 3. Both noted dates are scheduled for Full Sail in Winter Park, FL.

As noted, nothing formal has been announced by WWE regarding the event, nor have any potential participants spoken publicly about it.

The Mae Young Classic ran for the first time in 2017, featuring 32 women's wrestlers from around the globe competing in a single elimination tournament. That year, Kairi Sane defeated Shayna Baszler in the finals.

The 2018 tournament again featured 32 competitors, with the final match taking place at the all-women's Evolution pay-per-view last October at Nassau Coliseum. In the finals, Toni Storm defeated Io Shirai.
