Thunder Rosa Open To MMA Fight With Paige VanZant In AEW

AEW Women’s World Champion Thunder Rosa does not back down from a fight, and if she has it her way she’ll get the fight of her life against Paige VanZant in an AEW ring, under MMA rules.

Rosa revealed her openness to the idea during a conversation with Jim Varsallone, saying:

“I don’t say no to nothing. So if you know if AEW wanted to do it, go ahead,” said Rosa. “You know enough I’ll ask Combate Global. I’ll be like, ‘Hey Just give me a t-shirt.’ We’ll put like Global in there so we can do co-promoting. We could be like watch us on Univision and Paramount. I don’t know everything is possible. You know, the forbidden door. Let’s talk about the forbidden door right here.”

Thunder Rosa is set to commentate for MMA promotion Combate Global on July 15, having made her MMA debut for the promotion in 2019.

VanZant signed with AEW earlier this year, making her official in-ring debut at Double or Nothing, where the team of VanZant, Scorpio Sky, and Ethan Page defeated Tay Conti, Sammy Guevara, and Frankie Kazarian.
