Tiffany Stratton Still Internally Listed As A Heel

Tiffany Stratton still hasn't turned to the light, at least on WWE's internal roster list anyway.

Dr. Chris Featherstone of Sportskeeda reported shortly after Tiffany Stratton's WWE Women's Title win on the January 3 episode of Friday Night SmackDown that Stratton was still internally listed as a heel within WWE.

Almost one week on from Stratton's title win and her internal status has yet to change, with Mike Johnson of PWInsider noting that Stratton is still a heel on the internal WWE roster.

Despite her internal heel status, Stratton has been showered with cheers for several months and that will likely only continue on tonight's episode of Friday Night SmackDown and in the weeks to come.

Stratton finally cashed in her Money in the Bank contract on last week's SmackDown. Stratton, along with Candice LeRae, initially helped Nia Jax successfully defend the title against Naomi. Stratton then laid out Jax and LeRae post-match, though, and defeated Jax following her cash-in with the Prettiest Moonsault Ever.

Stratton's cash-in had been planned for the first-ever three-hour episode of SmackDown for several weeks but it remained a closely guarded secret within the company. WWE decided to wait until January 3 to provide the first three-hour SmackDown with a big moment.

While SmackDown is three hours at the moment, the show is expected to return to a two-hour run time in June.
