Title Matches Booked For AEW Battle Of The Belts IV
AEW Battle of the Belts IV takes place on October 7
AEW are set to air the fourth Battle of the Belts special live on Friday, October 7 with the TNT special airing straight after a live edition of AEW Rampage.
After not having a traditional two-on-two tag bout on AEW programming since May, ROH World Tag team Champions FTR will put the gold on the line against The Embassy's Gates of Agony, with Kaun and Toa Liona making their presence felt on the October 5 edition of Dynamite. After Brian Cage's loss to Wardlow, GOA and Prince Nana rushed the ring for a brawl, which prompted Samoa Joe and FTR to make the save.
Also confirmed for Battle of the Belts IV, after getting the decisive pin in women’s trios action on Dynamite, Willow Nightingale will challenge TBS Champion Jade Cargill for a shot at the strap, with Cargill telling Willow she’ll become victim number 39 of her undefeated streak.
Previously announced, AEW All Atlantic Champion PAC will be in action, putting the belt on the line against Best Friends' Trent Beretta, with Trent looking to settle a score following PAC putting Best Friends member Orange Cassidy out of commission.
