TNA IMPACT Spoilers From May 4 Taping

Full TNA IMPACT spoilers for May 9 and May 16

Following the Under Siege TNA+ special on Friday, May 3, TNA Wrestling held their latest tapings of TNA IMPACT on Saturday from the Albany Armory in Albany, New York. The promotion taped matches for Xplosion and the May 9 and May 16 episodes of TNA IMPACT.

Xplosion: 

  • Tasha Steelz def. Allie Katch - Allie Katch made her TNA return in the match, wrestling for the first time in the promotion since September 2022.
  • KUSHIDA def. Steve Gibki - KUSHIDA collapsed after the match and coughed up more of the ink-like substance that Jonathan Gresham forced into his mouth at Under Siege. 

TNA IMPACT - May 9:

  • The fans "didn't seem to care" about Moose claiming The System were better than the 1996 Chicago Bulls and the 1992 Dream Team. The stable was interrupted by Matt Hardy but he was quickly overpowered before Ryan Nemeth made the save. 
  • First Class (AJ Francis & Rich Swann) def. The FBI (Ray Jaz & Zack Clayton)
  • The Rascalz (Trey Miguel & Zachary Wentz) def. Jake Something & Cody Deaner - Albany Tornado Match - Steve Maclin laid out The Rascalz after the match. 
  • Ash by Elegance was interviewed by Gabby LaSpisa in a "really weird segment" where LaSpisa kept asking what her name means and what was listed on her birth certificate. A rematch between Ash By Elegance and Xia Brookside was eventually set up, with the winner earning possession of the rings worn by the former Dana Brooke. 
  • Jonathan Gresham def. Will Ferrara - The referee began coughing during the match.
  • Speedball Mountain (Mike Bailey & Trent Seven) def. ABC (Ace Austin & Chris Bey) - The winning team will face each other at a later date for a shot at the X-Division Championship. 

TNA IMPACT - May 16:

  • Ash By Elegance def. Xia Brookside - Brookside knocked Elegance out with the rings post-match. 
  • Leon Slater def. Alan Angels - The referee who was coughing earlier was coughing more during the match and had to be replaced after he began coughing up the ink-like substance. Post-match, Kon tried to attack Alan Angels but Leon Slater made the save. 
  • Gabby LaSpisa interviewed Jake Something about his name before Something mentioned he was upset about Cody Deaner causing him to be on a losing streak. Deaner came out and apologised for turning on him to join Violent By Design but Something took him out with a Clothesline. 
  • Frankie Kazarian def. Steve Maclin - Kaz won following interference from The Rascalz. 
  • Matt Hardy, Ryan Nemeth, Sami Callihan, Eric Young, Joe Hendry, Steph De Lander, & Spitfire (Jody Threat & Dani Luna) def. Moose, Eddie Edwards, Brian Myers, Laredo Kid, Jordynne Grace, Mustafa Ali, Alisha Edwards, & Masha Slamovich - Champions vs. Contenders Match 
  • PCO came out after the match and gave De Lander a black rose as a romantic gesture. The show came to an end with Matt Hardy congratulating "PC-Romeo and Juliet."
