TNT Title Rematch Confirmed For AEW Battle Of The Belts 2022

Cody Rhodes defends against Sammy Guevara

All Elite Wrestling have confirmed that Sammy Guevara will get his opportunity to reclaim the TNT Championship from Cody Rhodes at AEW Battle Of The Belts.

Rhodes won the TNT Title for a record third time from Guevara on the Christmas special-edition of AEW Rampage, with the Spanish God making it his New Year's resolution to take back the Title he initially defeated Miro to lift back in September.

Guevara will get the opportunity to do exactly that when he faces Rhodes again at AEW Battle Of The Belts on Saturday 8 January.

Also confirmed for the one-hour special is an AEW Women's Championship bout as Britt Baker puts her Title on the line against Riho.

AEW Battle of the Belts is the first quarterly special which will air on TNT as a part of the company's new television deal in 2022.

The promotion's flagship Dynamite show is set to move to TBS this Wednesday, with a show that will see Bryan Danielson challenge 'Hangman' Adam Page for the AEW World Title.
