Tommaso Ciampa Vs. Timothy Thatcher Set For WWE NXT TakeOver: WarGames 2020

The fifth match was added to the NXT TakeOver: WarGames card during last night's go-home show and Tommaso Ciampa and Timothy Thatcher will go one on one on December 6. 

Their rivalry started a couple of weeks ago when Ciampa took issue with Thatcher abusing his former Thatch-As-Thatch-Can student August Grey and confronted The British Messiah. Thatcher backed off at the time and said he had no problem with Ciampa, but The Blackheart cost him a win over Kushida on last week's NXT. 

Their bad blood only continued to boil during the latest edition of Thatch-As-Thatch-Can. The former Ringkampf member was set to teach new WWE signing Russ Taylor about distractions but Ciampa suddenly entered the ring to teach Thatcher. It didn't quite go to plan for The Sicilian Psychopath, though, as Thatcher and his student quickly gained the upper hand and beat him down to end the segment. 

The British Messiah was then interviewed backstage and accepted Ciampa's challenge to a match at WarGames.

The final member of Team Shotzi Blackheart was also revealed during NXT as Io Shirai helped The Ballsy Badass defeat Raquel Gonzalez for the WarGames advantage.
