Toni Storm Turns Heel On WWE NXT

Following their returns to NXT, Ember Moon and Toni Storm formed an alliance to combat Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez. While both admitted their ultimate goal was the NXT Women's Championship, they initially seemed happy to work together to defeat their rivals. They even picked up a win over Kai and Gonzalez on last week's show.

Moon and Storm's brief alliance came to an end on last night's episode of NXT, though. Following The War Goddess's defeat to Candice LeRae, Toni initially teased helping Moon against The Poison Pixie, Kai, Gonzalez and Indi Hartwell, but she instead dragged Ember from the ring and threw her into the steel steps. 

Storm failed to wholly explain her actions later in the show but she reminded fans that she did promise we would see "a new Toni Storm" when she returned at NXT TakeOver: 31. 

The Mae Young Classic winner then aligned herself with her former rivals and The Poison Pixie and she was confirmed as the fourth member of Team Candice LeRae for NXT TakeOver: WarGames.
