Tony Khan Hits Out At Criticism Of Adam Cole's AEW Booking

Displeased by the criticism

Since his All Elite Wrestling debut at the All Out pay-per-view, Adam Cole has been presented as one of the promotion's top stars, competing in high profile matches with his Elite faction-mates and facing the likes of Jungle Boy, Christian Cage, Bryan Danielson, Orange Cassidy and John Silver.

AEW have received criticism from some fans for the booking of Cole so far, though, something which AEW President Tony Khan hit back at on Monday.

After Grapsody Podcast host Will Washington noted his confusion at the criticism of Cole's booking, Khan replied: "It's false equivalence, Will. They try to move the line with ridiculous points aiming to dispute the credibility of something credible. Adam Cole is over af, he's pushed & has many more young fans watching him than he did on Tuesdays. Would we argue if they said water wasn't wet?"

Cole teamed with former Undisputed ERA faction-mate Bobby Fish on Friday's Rampage to defeat Orange Cassidy and Wheeler Yuta. The former NXT Champion's next feud remains unclear.
