Tony Khan On Bryan Danielson Working The NJPW G1 Climax: It Would Be Hard For Him To Disappear From AEW TV

Bryan Danielson in the NJPW G1 Climax would be difficult for AEW TV according to Tony Khan

Since Bryan Danielson left WWE and headed to All Elite Wrestling, many wrestling fans have wished and hoped that Danielson could gross the ‘forbidden door’ and wrestle in New Japan’s annual G1 Climax Tournament.

Danielson himself has admitted he wants to wrestle in the G1, but AEW President Tony Khan doesn’t think it’d be so straightforward, telling the In the Kliq podcast:

"To be honest. I think it would be great in many ways, but Bryan Danielson, it's quite possible, could be AEW World Champion. Either way, I mean, I think it'd be hard for him to disappear from the show, especially as the AEW World Champion. I'm not sure he'll be able to get away from the show that much. We'll have to see what happens here coming out of Revolution with MJF vs. Bryan Danielson for the AEW World Championship in the 60-Minute Iron Man Match in San Francisco on March 5," said Khan.

The G1 takes place every Summer, with 2022’s G1 Climax 32 lasting from July 16 until August 18, with Kazuchika Okada coming out on top.
