Tony Khan Promises 'Great News' About Weekly ROH Shows

Tony Khan on the future of ROH TV

A positive announcement about the future of Ring of Honor is seemingly on the horizon.

Speaking with Sports Illustrated ahead of AEW Dynamite, Tony Khan promised "great news soon" about ROH weekly TV.

"We'll have great news soon about Ring of Honor weekly shows. The success of Death Before Dishonor on pay-per-view has ensured there will be more Ring of Honor pay-per-views. Our goal is to have one more great pay-per-view for Ring of Honor in 2022 and then follow that up with a weekly show in 2023," Khan said.

The next ROH pay-per-view was revealed during Dynamite and the promotion will return on Saturday, December 10 with Final Battle at the University of Texas. The show will have a special start time of 4 pm ET, seemingly to avoid going head-to-head with UFC.

Khan has been the owner of Ring of Honor since March of 2022. The promotion lost their TV deal with former owners Sinclair Broadcast Group, though, and no new partnership has been announced as of yet. Khan has held two ROH pay-per-views so far and the promotion has a presence on AEW programming.
