At a recent AEW TV taping, The Acclaimed’s Max Caster challenged AEW President Tony Khan to a rap battle at Grand Slam, but he got more than he bargained for when Khan brought out Lil’ Uzi Vert.

In a segment for the live audience after Dynamite went off the air, and before the Rampage tapings commenced, Tony Khan came out to the stage to address The Acclaimed’s Max Caster and Anthony Bowens and admitted he’s written many wrestling cards in his life, but never written a rap, and doesn’t intend to start now. Khan then introduced Lil Uzi vert to the New York crowd, who gave the platinum selling star a loud reaction.

Lil Uzi Vert was spotted earlier in the evening in the AEW crowd, as were the likes of Westside Gunn, and New York hip-hop legends Jadakiss and Fabolous.

AEW have previously worked with West-coast hip-hop legend Snoop Dogg, who appeared on AEW Dynamite back in January 2021, delivering a top-rope Superfly splash to Serpentico.
