Tony Khan: Renee Paquette Has Helped Take AEW To Another Level

Renee Paquette joined AEW in October 2022 and Tony Khan is already hailing her performance

When Renee Paquette officially became All Elite in October 2022, it was seen as a shrewd signing for AEW, with Paquette settling into the ‘Mean Gene’ role on AEW TV.

Tommy Dreamer hailed Pquette’s instant impact on AEW TV during a recent episode of Busted Open Radio, with show guest Tony Khan agreeing:

"I totally agree. I do think that's the case. Since she came in Toronto about three weeks ago, I think it's been outstanding. I totally agree with you that these last three weeks that Renee has really helped take the show to another level. We've seen a lot of great segments, both live interviews, and interviews backstage. Tonight in particular I'm really excited for a sit-down interview with Dr. Britt Baker, DMD, and Saraya and they are both gonna talk to Renee…" said Khan ahead of the November 2 edition of AEW Dynamite.

Paquette left WWE in 2020, but was subject to a supposedly very long no-compete clause. Many had expected Paquette to join AEW at some point due to her husband Jon Moxley being a part of the AEW roster.
