Tony Khan's Reaction To AEW: Fight Forever Launch Revealed

While the reaction to AEW: Fight Forever was at best mixed upon the video game's release in June 2023, AEW CEO Tony Khan has claimed he was thrilled with the title's launch.

"I'm thrilled with the launch. I think Fight Forever has been well received. And the future is really strong. I mean, it was important that we get off to a strong start for sales; and we did. And the sales have been great. We got really exciting sales data back from THQ. And that is tremendous. The receipts so far have been amazing, and the future is really strong," Khan told PWInsider.

Khan is positive about the video game's future but the player base for AEW: Fight Forever has already dwindled, particularly on Steam, and there has been no word on when the Stadium Stampede battle royale mode will be released, nor has there been any major updates to Fight Forever since launch. THQ Nordic have stated they are working hard to improve the game, however.

AEW: Fight Forever is currently available on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
