Tony Khan Touts Another 'Huge Announcement' For Next Week's AEW Dynamite

In an act that is seemingly almost customary for AEW, AEW President Tony Khan has promised another ‘huge announcement’ on next week’s edition of AEW: Dynamite.
The pre-announcement announcement was made during the April 13 edition of AEW: Dynamite, but no indication has yet been given as to what the announcement could be about.
In the past Khan has hyped up upcoming episodes of AEW programming with his ‘special announcements’, a move which has excited AEW fans, and drawn derision from critics of Khan.
Past announcements have included Khan’s purchase of Ring of Honor, and the signings of several stars such as Christian Cage, Swerve Strickland, Keith Lee, and many others.
Online speculation to this latest announcement has been varied, with the most prominent theory being that Khan might announce an AEW streaming service. Other suggestions have included news on a ROH TV deal, a UK tour, or potentially a New Japan crossover show.
Khan’s announcement will feature on an AEW: Dynamite that will include a Darby Allin vs. Andrade El Idolo Coffin Match, and qualifying matches for the Men’s and Women’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament.
