Tony Nese Recalls Ariya Daivari Pitching Car WWE Money In The Bank Entrance

Daivari just went straight to the boss

A WWE writer told Ariya Daivari not to pitch a car entrance at Money In The Bank 2019, but the former 205 Live star went and did it anyway.

Daivari faced Tony Nese for the Cruiserweight Championship at the May 2019 pay-per-view and the challenger wanted to drive a luxury car to the ring to help 205 Live stand out. The response from a WWE writer was not positive, though, Nese revealed on Straight Shooting

"The answer was like, 'Oh, no, no, no, don't even bother asking Vince that.' That was the type of response. 'I'm not even gonna go to Vince with that idea.' And Daivari, good for him, he was like, 'You know what, screw you, I'm gonna ask him myself.' So he just knocked on the door, went in Vince's office, and he was like, 'Hey, this is my character, this is what he does, we're gonna be on the show.' Vince was like, 'Where is it?' I think it was Hartford or wherever. He's like, 'I think we can fit a car in that building. You know what, as long as we can fit a car, you've got it,'" Nese recalled.

Daivari would ultimately get his luxury car entrance at the pay-per-view and he made his way to the ring in a Mercedes AMG-GT.
