Triple H Reveals Original Plans For Him To Wrestle At WWE WrestleMania 38

Triple H discusses nixed plans for a match at WWE WrestleMania 38.

In Triple H's recent ESPN interview with Stephen A. Smith, the  spoke about plans made for a match at WrestleMania 38 prior to his health scare.

"I was already at a place in my career, as far as in-ring goes, where I was comfortable being done and finished [...] But if the right thing came along and they wanted me to do it...I had a conversation with Vince McMahon about doing something at WrestleMania this year in Dallas [...] Obviously, when this happened, it shut all that down. As far as the schedule, WWE is an intense place. It's 24/7 and you're running, running, running. It put things in perspective for me."

Triple H recently revealed that he has had to retire from wrestling. His last match took place at a live event in Tokyo, Japan, where he teamed with Shinsuke Nakamura to defeat Samoa Joe and Robert Roode. His last match to air was the loss to Randy Orton at Super ShowDown 2019 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
