Triple H To Address WWE Fans On SmackDown

Amidst a tumultuous week for WWE, Triple H will address WWE fans on tonight's post-WrestleMania 39 edition of Friday Night SmackDown. What exactly WWE's Chief Content Officer will say is unknown. 

Triple H opened the April 3 edition of Monday Night Raw to assure fans that WWE wouldn't be going anywhere after the company was sold to Endeavor. 

Behind the scenes, Triple H appears to have been stripped of much of his power. Vince McMahon re-established himself as the head of WWE creative on Raw, changing plans only minutes before the show went on the air. The WWE Executive Chairman reportedly once again retains the final say on all creative matters, while Triple H now finds himself writing TV ahead of any possible McMahon changes. 

Should McMahon decide to travel to Portland for SmackDown, it will reveal how involved he plans to be in creative going forward.

Also announced for SmackDown is Rey Mysterio & Santos Escobar vs. Dominik Mysterio & Damian Priest. Sami Zayn will also go one-on-one with former friend Jey Uso, while Sheamus, Butch, & Ridge Holland of The Brawling Brutes will square off with Imperium's GUNTHER, Ludwig Kaiser, & Giovanni Vinci.
