Trish Stratus To Appear On 8/22 WWE Raw
Raw emanates from Toronto
WWE announced during Friday night's episode of SmackDown that Hall of Famer Trish Stratus will appear on this coming Monday's Raw in her native Toronto.
The appearance will mark Stratus' first appearance on Raw in three years. In August 2019, Stratus teamed with Natalya to face Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch, as part of the build toward Stratus' SummerSlam match against Flair.
There's no indication if Stratus' appearance will be just a one off in front of her hometown crowd, or if it's part of the build to a future match or appearance.
Stratus will also be appearing on WWE's house shows in Ontario over the weekend, including Saturday in Kingston, and Sunday in London.
Already announced for Monday's show are Alexa Bliss and Asuka vs. Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky in the latest WWE Women's Tag Team tournament bout, as well as Edge vs. Damian Priest.
The current card for the August 22 episode of Raw, taking place at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, includes the following:
* WWE Women's Tag Team tournament semifinal: Alexa Bliss and Asuka vs. Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky
* Edge vs. Damian Priest
* An appearance from Trish Stratus
