Two Big Singles Matches Announced For AEW Dynamite

AEW have announced two singles matches for Dynamite: Homecoming

AEW is heading back home next week when they bring the Dynamite: Homecoming episode to Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida. This was of course the long-term home and venue for AEW’s weekly shows and PPV events during the pandemic era.

Two big singles matches have been added to the line-up over the weekend. Ahead of their AEW World Tag Team Championship match at the upcoming Battle of the Belts IX on January 13, Ricky Starks will take on Sammy Guevara in a singles match. Starks & his partner Big Bill will defend their gold against Guevara & Chris Jericho next week.

Additionally, “Hangman” Adam Page will take on the Blackpool Combat Club’s Claudio Castagnoli in a first-time-ever singles match, as revealed on X by Tony Khan. Page is looking to gain some momentum as he is targeting both Swerve Strickland and Adam Cole (along with the Undisputed Kingdom faction).

The current line-up for Dynamite is as follows:

  • Sting & Darby Allin vs. Konosuke Takeshita & Powerhouse Hobbs
  • Adam Page vs. Claudio Castagnoli
  • Ricky Starks vs. Sammy Guevara
  • AEW World Champion Samoa Joe will speak
