Two Encore Episodes Of WWE SmackDown To Air Immediately Following October 29 Broadcast

Back-to-back-to-back WWE SmackDowns

WWE have announced that two 'encore' presentations of Friday Night SmackDown will immediately following the live broadcast of the October 29 episode of the blue brand on FS1.

WWE SmackDown is due to air on FS1 this week due to Game 3 of The World Series being presented on FOX. The promotion had initially planned to show WWE Talking Smack immediately after the live SmackDown show but have now revealed plans to instead broadcast two 'encore' SmackDowns.

The announcement means that WWE Friday Night SmackDown will air for six straight hours on FS1 on Friday evening, with the first 'encore' show competing directly with AEW Rampage.

WWE's press release reads:

"Friday Night SmackDown began a new chapter last week, and the blue brand will continue the explosive era this week on FS1 at 8/7 C.

"SmackDown will take over FS1 on Friday, as two encore presentations will immediately follow the regular broadcast airing at 8 p.m. ET.

"Last week on the blue brand, Brock Lesnar came hunting for Universal Champion Roman Reigns and earned an indefinite suspension, Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks delivered fireworks around the SmackDown Women's Title landscape, King Woods was officially coronated and much more.

"What will this week have in store when SmackDown heads to FS1?"
