Two Matches Announced For 10/14 WWE SmackDown

The fallout from Extreme Rules

Two matches have been announced for next Friday night's episode of SmackDown, both based on events that transpired on this week's broadcast.

In singles action, Kofi Kingston of The New Day will go one on one with Sami Zayn. The match came about after a six man tag on Friday, where Kingston teamed with Xavier Woods and Braun Strowman to defeat Zayn and The Usos.

Late in that match, Zayn and Jey Uso had an argument at ringside, before both were taken out by Strowman. Jimmy Uso fell victim to The New Day back inside the ring for the finish.

Also added to next week's card, the reborn LA Knight will face his former Maximum Male Models client, Mansoor.

The match was set up by Knight attacking Mansoor and Mace backstage with a chair. When Maxxine Dupri tried to stop him, she referred to him as Max, to which he corrected her, saying his name was LA Knight.

The current card for next Friday's WWE SmackDown, taking place at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, includes the following:

* Kofi Kingston vs. Sami Zayn

* LA Knight vs. Mansoor
