Update On Chad Gable's WWE Contract Reportedly Revealed

Speculation about his WWE deal was rife earlier this year

Chad Gable's future with WWE was the subject of much speculation a couple of months ago.

The WWE SmackDown star saw his contract status talked about by AEW's Dax Harwood on social media, who said that Gable's deal with WWE came to an end around May.

With Gable still featuring regularly on WWE television, alongside protégée Otis, it is evident that Harwood's tweet was meant as a joke, and Fightful Select is reporting that, in reality, Gable's contract with WWE still has significant time left on it.

However, the report also claims that several AEW wrestlers have indicated, should Gable opt to not sign a new contract with WWE when the time comes, then they will push AEW management very heavily to bring Gable in.

Gable signed with WWE in 2013 and made his debut on NXT in 2015, forming a tag-team with Jason Jordan. The former amateur wrestler has spent most of his time on the main roster in different teams as well, working with the likes of Otis, Bobby Roode and Shelton Benjamin.
