Update On Charlotte Flair-Tiffany Stratton Heat Following WWE WrestleMania 41

WWE Women's Champion Tiffany Stratton has given an update on her relationship with Charlotte Flair following their match at WrestleMania 41.

Tiffany retained the title, defeating Charlotte after a fiery build to the match which included reports that the pair had legitimate heat with one another. It included a split-screen interview (in which many viewers felt Flair was deliberately treading on Stratton's toes) and a chaotic in-ring promo segment which devolved into personal attacks.

Asked by Alfred Konuwa for an update on the situation in the aftermath of their match, Stratton explained:

"Me and Charlotte, after the match, it was kind of like a sportsmanship thing, you know. We said ‘good game,’ and she said she’s proud of me. But yeah, everything’s good.

"I felt like things got personal and it’s live TV. Things happen. But I feel like everything happened for a reason and this is how things were supposed to pan out."

On last Friday's episode of SmackDown, Stratton was attacked from behind by Nia Jax. In a backstage segment later in the show, Nia told Naomi to stay out of her way while she went after Tiffany, heavily implying that she'll be next in line for a title shot.
