Drew McIntyre hasn’t been seen on WWE programming since his match against CM Punk at the 2024 Bad Blood premium live event early last month, losing in a Hell In A Cell match that left him needing sixteen stitches following a major laceration on his head.

Fightful Select has provided some insight on Drew McIntyre’s current status and whereabouts, with the word being that he is doing good. It was noted that McIntyre had gone through some personal losses so was away in Europe to spend time with his family whilst also healing up from the cut on his head. It isn’t known whether or not his absence from WWE was planned, and there is no news on when he will be back in the fold on Monday Night RAW.

His opponent from Bad Blood, CM Punk, has also taken some leave from WWE, though the expectation is that he will be back in the fold by Survivor Series, potentially going up against Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship. Late last month it was suggested that McIntyre could be back in the mix by late November, but there is no direct word as of yet.
