After his shock heel turn at Elimination Chamber, John Cena’s future in WWE is an exciting prospect, and we have an update on Cena’s plans post-WrestleMania 41.
Cena is in the midst of his retirement year with WWE (don’t forget that heels lie though). The multi-time WWE Champion is looking to land number 17 when facing Cody Rhodes in Mania’s main event, and WWE have now revealed three new dates that Cena will be working for the company, with Cena set for SmackDown appearances in Tennessee, Kentucky, and Michigan in May and June.
Whether Cena will have the Undisputed WWE Title over his shoulder or not remains to be seen, however the former ‘Doctor of Thuganomics’ will be in Knoxville on May 30, Lexington on June 13, and Grand Rapids on June 20.
Cena is yet to show his face in WWE since his shock attack on Cody Rhodes, with Cena next set for Raw in Brussels on March 17, then further Raw appearances in Glasgow and London on March 24 and March 31 respectively.
Cena announced in 2024 that he will work around 36 dates for his retirement tour. He has worked three shows so far this year.
