Kairi Sane has given an update on her injury
Jan 5, 2025
Damage CTRL cannot seem to escape injuries, as multiple members have suffered setbacks of varying levels of severity over the last year. Former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Kairi Sane is the latest casualty, and she has provided some insight on why she has been out of action ever since early December.
Last competing on the December 2 episode of Monday Night RAW in a losing effort to the tag team of Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez, Sane was ruled out of in-ring competition, getting replaced in the Women’s Intercontinental Championship tournament by her Damage CTRL faction member Iyo Sky.
Taking to Instagram, Sane showcased a cast on her arm, indicating the area on the body in which she was injured. The caption to the photo read:
“I’ll get an arm of iron…”
Another of her Damage CTRL stablemates, Dakota Kai, is scheduled to compete in the finals of the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship tournament against Lyra Valkyria, though their match was pushed back from the premiere of Monday Night RAW on Netflix. You can find the reason as to why here.
