Kevin Owens is actually fine following Sunday's WWE house show at the North Charleston Coliseum and Performing Arts Center in South Carolina.

Kevin Owens was in action in the second match of the night against The Miz and there looked to be an issue when Owens went for a superkick but didn't reach the full height and instead kicked The Miz in the nether regions before he collapsed to the mat. Owens was immediately checked on by referee Charles Robinson and the wrestler grasped his knee, with Owens hobbling around during the remainder of the match. The former WWE Universal Champion was then helped to the back following the contest.

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer has reported, though, that Kevin Owens was not injured at the WWE house show and he was just selling. This is ultimately a boon for WWE as Owens had just returned from a long injury layoff due to a career-threatening neck injury.

KO made his return at SummerSlam and he is currently involved in the WWE Title picture. He unsuccessfully challenged CM Punk for the belt on the August 21 episode of Friday Night SmackDown and a number one contender's Triple Threat on August 28 against Gunther and Finn Balor went to a no-contest, with Sami Zayn being the decisive factor in both matches.
