All Elite Wrestling look set to introduce a new pay-per-view this year as the promotion filed to trademark 'AEW Redemption' with the United States Patent and Trademark Office on April 13. It was revealed soon after that this was the name of a pay-per-view scheduled for later this year.

Fightful Select has reported that AEW Redemption will be taking place between Forbidden Door on June 28 and All In on August 30, with the pay-per-view likely to be held in July. Canada has been rumoured within AEW as the likely location of the pay-per-view, with Montreal considered the heavy favourite.

All Elite Wrestling have yet to hold a pay-per-view in Montreal since the promotion was founded in 2019. Multiple pay-per-views have taken place in Canada, though, including Forbidden Door 2023 and All Out 2025 in Toronto and AEW Dynasty 2026 in Vancouver.

When Redemption is added to the calendar, it will expand AEW's pay-per-view output to 10 major events per year. The company already holds Revolution, Dynasty, Double or Nothing, Forbidden Door, All In, All Out, WrestleDream, Full Gear, and Worlds End.
