Powerhouse Hobbs was involved in a high-profile match at the special Blood & Guts edition of AEW Dynamite as The Opps member went one-on-one with Hangman Page in a Falls Count Anywhere match.

The match featured several high-profile spots, including one moment where Hangman Page gave Hobbs a back body drop from the announce table to the floor. Such was the impact of Hobbs' landing that he landed bum first and bounced, with some fearing the AEW World Trios Champion may have sustained a bruised coccyx at the very least.

Despite the rough bump on his tailbone, Bryan Alvarez reported on Wrestling Observer Live that Powerhouse Hobbs was fine following the Falls Count Anywhere Match.

Hangman Page ultimately emerged victorious from the Dynamite match after he decked Hobbs with a cowboy boot as Powerhouse was teetering on the edge of a railing, sending Hobbs crashing through a table filled with electrical equipment below. Page then covered Hobbs for the pinfall win.

One talent who did suffer an injury at AEW Blood & Guts was Jamie Hayter, as the former AEW Women's World Champion suffered several chipped teeth following a steel chair to the face from Megan Bayne.
