Samoa Joe attended to by medical staf at AEW All In Texas

Samoa Joe left AEW All In Texas on a stretcher after a vicious post-match beatdown by The Death Riders and Gabe Kidd, seemingly writing the AEW Trios Champion off TV.

After victory in the opening match of the main card, Joe ended up the victim of a Pillmanising as Claudio Castagnoli stamped a chair around his head, with AEW medical staff attended to Joe afterwards. A report from Fightful Select says this was done to get Joe off of AEW TV for a spell, with the former AEW World Champion set to do promotional work for the upcoming season of Twisted Metal.

Joe portrays Sweet Tooth in the TV series, with the second season set to begin airing in late July. It is currently unknown how long Joe will be away from AEW, but it is expected to be several weeks at least.

That wasn’t the only Pillmanising to take place at All In, with Will Ospreay suffering the same fate at the hands of The Death Riders during the AEW World Championship Texas Death Match main event between Jon Moxley and Hangman Page. It is unknown if Ospreay is also set to take some time away form AEW.
