Sonya Deville will be busy after her WWE contract officially expires.

It was revealed on Friday, February 7 and into the early hours of Saturday, February 8 that Sonya Deville had been informed by WWE that her contract was not being renewed and she would become a free agent in a number of weeks.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Deville has agreed to terms with Tom Unger's Big Event Promotions and Deville will be doing a number of signings at pop culture and pro wrestling conventions once she has departed WWE.

Deville was the only talent to be informed her contract was not being renewed but several wrestlers were released by WWE, including Akam and Rezar of AOP, Paul Ellering, Blair Davenport, Cedric Alexander, Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson, Isla Dawn, Elektra Lopez, and Giovanni Vinci.

After taking part in season six of Tough Enough, Sonya Deville signed with WWE in 2015. Her most recent run saw Deville featured on TV as part of the Pure Fusion Collective with Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark.
