Update On When Sammy Guevara Will Make His AEW Return

Sammy Guevara coming back to AEW TV soon

Sammy Guevara won't be gone from All Elite Wrestling programming for much longer.

The three-time TNT Champion has been off TV since he sustained a concussion at the WrestleDream pay-per-view on October 1, being pulled from a Dynamite match a few days later.

Dave Meltzer has now reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that Guevara will be back soon, having been cleared for an in-ring return. He would have made his return sooner but his comeback was delayed by the birth of his daughter.

"Sammy will be back soon now. I don't know when he was cleared exactly but it was over a week ago. At that point when she was about to give birth, there was no reason to come back until after she gave birth but yeah, he's cleared," Meltzer stated.

Sammy Guevara and Tay Melo revealed their daughter Luna Melo Guevara was born on Tuesday, November 28 following over 24 hours in labour.

When he returns to TV, Guevara is expected to link back up with the Don Callis Family, having joined the stable after turning on Chris Jericho. If the Jericho vs. Guevara feud will continue is unknown, however, as Jericho has since formed The Golden Jets with Kenny Omega.
