WWE and 2K Games recent launch of WWE2K22 has been a success, with the wrestling games community greeting the new title with far more positivity than WWE2K20.

On the back of the successful launch, it seems as though WWE and 2K have extended their partnership, with 2K Sports’ Ronnie ‘2K’ Singh posting the following on Twitter:

“The two biggest heels in the biz sitting in the boss’s @WWE chair. In all seriousness, such a pleasure meeting a person I have long admired for her presence, business acumen & philanthropy @StephMcMahon To partnering on many more @wwegames launches.”

The official WWE Games Twitter also spoke of the relationship between the two companies, posting a picture of multiple 2K staff in WWE HQ: “Shoutout to @WWE and @StephMcMahon for the continued partnership and an amazing launch of #WWE2K22. Here's to many more years of success! #ItHitsDifferent”

Rumours swirled that WWE were considering a partnership with EA, but it seems 2K are keeping the license for the foreseeable future.

WWE 2K22 is available for purchase now.
