WWE WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas was such a success that WWE subsequently pulled plans to hold the follow-up in New Orleans to again run Vegas for Mania 42.

Such a move came out of left-field, but subsequent reports suggested it could become commonplace, with WWE believed to be targeting a Vegas Mania on a ‘regular basis’. However, a report from Fightful Select questions whether WWE will actually hold Mania in ‘Sin City’ on a regular basis, with many within WWE believing it to be a negotiation tactic to encourage other potential host cities to bid more for the rights to have Mania come through their town.

The believed reasoning for WWE’s potential Vegas stop-offs are manyfold, with several high ranking TKO executives living and hailing from the area, never mind fellow TKO property UFC having a strong presence in the region.

Despite Vegas’ reputation as a hub for major events - especially within the combat sports world - WrestleMania has so far only taken place in the city on two occasions, with WrestleMania IX taking place in Caesar’s Palace in 1993 before this year’s two-night WrestleMania 41 in Allegiant Stadium.
