A major WWE return might not be too far away.

Brock Lesnar has been off WWE programming since the end of his feud with Cody Rhodes at August's SummerSlam pay-per-view. Lesnar ended up losing that series 2-1 to Rhodes and turned babyface following the match, shaking Rhodes' hand.

Lesnar hasn't been back on WWE TV since and SE Scoops reported they did not receive a definitive confirmation that the multi-time WWE Champion would be back on TV for the Royal Rumble but Lesnar being on the show was not denied either. Rumours in October noted Lesnar would be back on TV for the build to the Rumble, which is set to take place on January 27 at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida.

While Lesnar may miss out on the Royal Rumble, he is currently scheduled to be in action at WrestleMania 40. His opponent is up in the air at the moment, though, as "a lot of things are shifting within WWE right now", according to SE Scoops, so nothing has been locked in for Lesnar's match.

Brock Lesnar has been a regular at WrestleMania since coming out of retirement in 2021. He lost to Roman Reigns in the main event of WrestleMania 38 before defeating Omos at WrestleMania 39.
