Viceland’s Dark Side Of The Ring Season Two To Premiere Later This Month

Season Two Incoming...

Back in April last year, Viceland premiered their new professional wrestling documentary series, Dark Side Of The Ring. The six-part series covered some of the tragedies and most controversial moments in the history of wrestling, as episodes focused on The Fabulous Moolah, The killing of Bruiser Brody, Randy Savage & Miss Elizabeth, and The Montreal Screwjob, among other topics.

The series was renewed for a second 10-part series back in July, and now Viceland has revealed in a new trailer that the new season will premiere later this month on March 24, as they look to capitalise on the increased interest in wrestling in the run up to WrestleMania 36.

The new season looks set to pick up where season one left off as it will cover Chris Benoit’s double-murder and suicide, Owen Hart’s tragic death, the Mass Transit incident, The Road Warriors, Dino Bravo, David Schultz, “Superfly” Jimmy Snuka, The Brawl For All, and Herb Abrams.

The Chris Benoit incident is expected to be a two-part special as the series will cover the fallout from the event and how it affected professional wrestling.
