Victoria Unhappy With Treatment During WWE Royal Rumble Return

The 2021 Royal Rumble was not a happy homecoming for the former Women's Champion

The 2021 Royal Rumble was not a happy homecoming for ex-WWE star Victoria, who says she was mistreated backstage.

The former WWE Women's Champion made a surprise appearance in the Women's Royal Rumble match, marking her first WWE appearance in almost 12 years.

Speaking about her experience during a live-streamed edition of the Grown Ass Women podcast, Victoria said:

"I was treated like s**t when I came back to WWE backstage. And I was like 'You know what? How I got treated by some of the people? I will never treat a human like that. Ever'. I'm gonna be the welcoming arm, like 'Hey! Welcome to [insert promotion name]!'. If they last two days? OK, they last two days, they're not gonna last very long. But who are they gonna say [they want to work with]? They're gonna say 'I want to work with [me]'"

She did not get into the specifics of the perceived mistreatment.

Victoria's old rival Trish Stratus has recently been lobbying for her to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
