Vince Russo Claims To Be Collaborating With WWE

The controversial writer claims to have worked on a network special

Former WWE and WCW writer Vince Russo has collaborated with the WWE on a new project.

According to a post on his personal Twitter account, Russo said the following:

“Worked with WWE this past Friday on a project I think for Peacock. Pleasurable experience, all involved were pros and respectable. I really do hope that those who need to see my comments see them. While I don’t want a job, I am always looking to help the Biz in any way I can.”

Russo is one of the most controversial names in modern professional wrestling history. An important voice in WWE’s writing room during the Monday Night Wars, Russo - and Ed Ferrara - then made the jump to WCW where he is sometimes credited with abetting WCW’s demise due to his love of ‘car crash TV” style booking.

Aside from his work in WWE and WCW, including a World Heavyweight Championship run in the latter, Russo has also worked for TNA in several stints between 2002 and 2014.
