Wade Barrett Reveals He & Nikki Bella Have 'Smoothed Things Over'

Any heat between Nikki Bella and Wade Barrett is now a thing of the past after they "smoothed things over" on Friday, Barrett announced on X/Twitter.

"Great news, fight fans.. @NikkiAndBrie and I have spoken, we've smoothed things over, and I've graciously been allowed back into the Bella Army. Fully paid-up member since FCW 2008. A difference of perspective - to which we are all entitled - but to be clear, some of the personal abuse that gets sent to Nikki on here is reprehensible and completely out of line, so let's cut that out immediately," Barrett wrote.

Issues arose between Barrett and Bella after Nikki suggested the WWE commentator crossed a line on the Clash in Paris pre-show when he noted the WWE women's division may have passed Bella by as part of building up the Women's Intercontinental Title match between Lynch and Bella on the pay-per-view.

Bella expressed her unhappiness with Barrett on the Nikki & Brie Show and also claimed that Barrett avoided her at the post-Clash in Paris edition of Monday Night Raw. Barrett quickly denied that was the case, tweeting that it was "simply not true."
