WALTER Vs Kassius Ohno Booked For EVOLVE 136
A hard-hitting match to be sure...
Earlier this week, it was announced that NXT United Kingdom champion WALTER would be wrestling at EVOLVE 135 and 136, taking place next weekend in New York City. On Friday, September 20 in Brooklyn, he takes on JD Drake in a non-title bout.
The night after, he tangles with Kassius Ohno in Queens, also a non-title match.
Ohno's involvement in EVOLVE's weekend of shows was announced Friday. He's also scheduled to wrestle Josh Briggs at the Friday show in Brooklyn.
Ohno and WALTER have faced off sporadically over the previous decade, including matches in Germany for Westside Xtreme Wrestling, in the UK for PROGRESS, and at an NXT UK event in Phoenix, AZ the day of this year's Royal Rumble.
Ohno and WALTER will also take part in meet-and-greets at both events, along with EVOLVE champion Austin Theory, Tommaso Ciampa, Johnny Gargano, Candice LeRae, Babatunde, and Arturo Ruas.
Other matches scheduled for the Saturday show include Theory vs. Briggs for the EVOLVE championship, and a two-out-of-three falls, ten man tag pitting The Skulk against The Unwanted.
