On July 24, All Elite Wrestling suddenly announced Cody would be defending his TNT Championship against WARHORSE on the July 29 edition of Dynamite. Now the match is finally here and WARHORSE will be looking to shock the world and leave Daily's Place with the title.

AEW's announcement came after a long campaign from The Man Who Rules Ass and the young promotion's fans who made it impossible for The American Nightmare to avoid as #CodyFearsWarhorse became a popular trend on Twitter.

Ahead of his title shot, WARHORSE sat down for an interview with Justin Barrasso at Sports Illustrated and acknowledged his campaign wouldn't have worked without the fans.

The IWTV Independent Wrestling Champion said: "None of this happens without my fans. People kept getting louder and louder, and they kept blowing up Cody about the match. Them getting riled up and fired up got me on television."

Also advertised for tonight's episode of Dynamite is The Inner Circle vs. Jurassic Express, Best Friends and Orange Cassidy, Jon Moxley and Darby Allin vs. Brian Cage and Ricky Starks in a Texas Tornado match, "Hangman" Adam Page and Kenny Omega vs. Dark Order for the AEW World Tag Team Championship, and Hikaru Shida vs. Diamante.
