Future WWE career in the works?

Stars from the world of sports transitioning to life in WWE is nothing new in 2019, with the likes of Ronda Rousey showing that it can be done and then some.

The latest big name who appears to be starting out on a career inside the squared circle is Boston Celtics' Enes Kanter.

The former Portland Trailblazers man has been training with WWE Hall Of Famer Diamond Dallas Page recently at the WCW legend's facility in Atlanta, Georgia.

During an interview with Hoops Rumors earlier this year, Kanter revealed that he is very serious about a pro wrestling career: "I feel like it’s my world. You just got to go out there, talk trash, troll people. Lifting, I love lifting. It’s just fun, man. I don’t want to stop my sports career when I’m done with basketball. A lot of people go into broadcasting, coaching, but I want to continue opening the door in sports. That’s why I’m very serious about it.

“I’m already in contact with Paul Heyman and some of the wrestlers,” Kanter added. “I’m actually trying to meet with Vince McMahon.”

Footage of Kanter's time in the ring has been released by The Score and you can watch it below.
