Before 2018, Trish Stratus' last match in WWE was a six-person Mixed tag team match at WrestleMania XXVII. She emerged victorious, teaming with John Morrison and Jersey Shore star Snooki to take on Dolph Ziggler and LayCool.
However, she's since returned to the ring to make a few appearances - first in 2018 at the first ever women's Royal Rumble. She then wrestled at the women's only pay-per-view Evolution later that year, teaming with old friend and foe Lita against Mickie James and Alicia Fox. Following this, many fans expressed hope that the seven time Women's Champion would return for one last match.
She ultimately did so at SummerSlam 2019, where she was defeated in her final match against Charlotte Flair.
Yesterday, WWE released a trailer for their latest documentary, WWE 24: Trish Stratus, which will follow Stratus in preparation for her final bout. The documentary will include footage from her home, in-ring training, WrestleMania 35, and media appearances in the build up to SummerSlam. New interviews have also been recorded for the documentary with Trish and other WWE Superstars.
